The project titled 'Improving the Skills of Classroom Teachers to Implement Number Sense-Based Teaching Practices within the Scope of the SAYDEP Professional Development Program,' which will be conducted by our faculty member of the Department of Classroom Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derya CAN, has been deemed worthy of support within the scope of TÜBİTAK ARDEB 3501-Career Development Program.
This project will be carried out in collaboration with four researchers and one consultant working at four different universities, one of which is international, and the Ministry of National Education. The project aims to enhance the skills of classroom teachers in developing number sense-based teaching practices in mathematics lessons.
Within the framework of our university's vision of 'From universal knowledge to societal contribution,' it is aimed to develop sustainable and traceable professional practices that provide on-site support processes to teachers with real classroom environment applications, prepare the ground for relating theory and practice with a coaching system.
