Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Quality Coordination Office organized a training program titled “Improvement in Education and Training Processes: Program Design, Measurement Evaluation, and Monitoring”.
Academicians and administrative staff who are members of the quality commissions of academic and administrative units attended the program held at the MAKÜ Conference and Exhibition Hall.
The program, which started with the opening speech of the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Firdevs Savi Çakar, included a brief information session by Prof. Dr. Çakar on the quality assurance system, quality commission, stakeholders, and quality assurance culture.
Then, MAKÜ Quality Coordinator Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Buğra Hamşıoğlu explained the institutional accreditation evaluation. Assoc. Dr. Hamşıoğlu emphasized the importance of the program, which was organized to plan, implement, and monitor the activities of the 2023-2024 academic year, in terms of institutional accreditation.
Later, Faculty of Education, Department of Educational Sciences faculty member Prof. Dr. Ramazan Sağ gave a presentation on Institutional Feedback Report Program Design, Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) and its relations with the field, access to program outcomes, student success, and program update.
MAKÜ Measurement Evaluation Application and Research Center Director Assoc. Dr. Şeyma Uyar gave a presentation on the power of measuring success, areas open to development, key points, program learning outcomes, classification of behaviors, TYYÇ level proficiency, personal and professional competencies, principles to be considered when selecting, implementing, and utilizing evaluation tools and methods by teachers and the education system, measurement-evaluation, and monitoring.
