In the summer school;
· Detailed information and documents that will guide and inform our university students and guest students who want to take courses from our university's summer school are included in the attached files, and it will be beneficial for all students to review the attached files before starting the summer school application procedures.
· At our university, all courses of “Atatürk İlkeleri ve İnkılap Tarihi I – II”, ”Türk Dili I -II”, “Yabancı Dil(İngilizce) I – II” will be conducted through distance education method, and all other courses will be conducted through face-to-face education method.
· The midterm and final exams of the courses “Atatürk İlkeleri ve İnkılap Tarihi I – II”, ”Türk Dili I -II”, “Yabancı Dil(İngilizce) I – II” which will be conducted through distance education method, will be conducted face-to-face. The exam format will be determined by the instructor of the course and will be announced to the students in advance according to the determined schedule.
· A registration quota of 100 students has been set for all courses to be opened in the summer school by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Students of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine who cannot register for the courses due to the quota being full will be evaluated outside the quota if they apply to their own unit with a petition, and the registration procedures can be carried out by the unit student affairs.
· In the 2023 Summer School, the courses common between units;
Ø The courses Atatürk İlkeleri ve İnkılap Tarihi I-II, Türk Dili I-II, Yabancı Dil (İngilizce) I-II taught in all academic units will be conducted in the Faculty of Education,
Ø The common courses taught in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Bucak Zeliha Tolunay School of Applied Technology and Management, and Bucak Faculty of Business will be combined in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences as specified in the attached list. The Summer School Coordination Board of 2023 will announce in which unit the courses that are confirmed to be opened after the applications will be opened, based on the number of students, ECTS, and credit status of the courses.
Ø Optional formation courses will be opened in the Faculty of Education.
In Summer School Applications;
· MAKÜ student, in order to take the course that is not opened in the unit they are registered in, from another unit within the university without losing any rights, must apply with the application form from the address https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=MAKU and after the application, a unit board decision is needed.
· MAKÜ student, if the summer school courses are not opened in our university's faculties/schools/conservatories/vocational schools, can take courses from other universities without losing any rights by applying with the application form from the address https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=DIGER and after the application, a unit board decision is needed.
· Students registered in other universities, https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/oibs/summer_app/ can apply from the address and take courses from the summer school as guest students like MAKÜ students by logging in to the address https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/ with the password and student number sent to them. They can access the document "Makü Öğrenci Numarası Alımı" prepared on how to apply from the announcement attachment.
